Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2012-2016 AT200A aerial devices. Cracks may develop in the legs of the mounting frame, which can cause the mounting frame side plate to break.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 4,055 units affected.

- Description:
- Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2012-2016 AT200A aerial devices. Cracks may develop in the legs of the mounting frame, which can cause the mounting frame side plate to break.
- Consequeces:
- A broken side plate may result in pedestal and truck frame separation, increasing the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Altec will repair the side plates as necessary, or provide a repair kit, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 13, 2022. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN 840.
