Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020 Taycan vehicles. The front and rear upper control arm screw connections on the rear axle may be loose.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 35 units affected.

Description:: Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2020 Taycan vehicles. The front and rear upper control arm screw connections on the rear axle may be loose.
Consequeces:: A loose control arm connection may fail, causing a loss of vehicle stability and increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the screw connections, free of charge. Owner notification letters were expected to be mailed January 13, 2022. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is AMC3.

Three NHTSA safety recalls are open and unremedied on my 2020 Porsche Taycan 4S: 25V896 (high-voltage battery — cell-module short circuit / fire risk), 24V732 (battery inspection, cell-module replacement, software update), and 24V455 (front brake hoses — cracking and brake-fluid leakage). Open status is confirmed by the manufacturer's own lookup at [XXX] as of XXX. The recalls cannot be completed because the manufacturer's authorized network refuses to confirm or schedule the work. The vehicle originated in the US and is now registered in [XXX]. In December 2025 the authorized dealer (Winner Porsche Center Kyiv Airport) refused, stating recalls are performed only for vehicles originally sold on the local market. I escalated to Porsche AG in XXX; the case was reviewed by Porsche Central and Eastern Europe and the official importer. After inspecting the vehicle in XXX, the dealer tried to condition recall work on my acceptance of unrelated paid repairs, and in XXX stated in writing that it reserves the right to refuse manufacturer campaigns due to "existing defects," without identifying any technical dependency between the cited findings and the recall work (brake-hose replacement and battery inspection/software are unaffected). A final written request with a 10-business-day deadline expired in XXX with no response from any Porsche entity. Safety risk: a battery fire risk and reduced front-brake performance remain unremedied on a vehicle in regular daily use. No warning lamps or symptoms; the risk arises from the unrepaired recall defects themselves. The refusal is confirmed in the dealer's written statements and documented in correspondence with Porsche AG, available on request. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request.
