Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022 Alpine, Impact, Arcadia, Avalanche, Fuzion, and Passport travel trailers, equipped with a 50-amp shore power inlet. The power inlet lug bolts may have been manufactured with excessively hard metal, preventing them from being tightened properly and resulting in a loose wiring connection.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 569 units affected.

Description:: Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2022 Alpine, Impact, Arcadia, Avalanche, Fuzion, and Passport travel trailers, equipped with a 50-amp shore power inlet. The power inlet lug bolts may have been manufactured with excessively hard metal, preventing them from being tightened properly and resulting in a loose wiring connection.
Consequeces:: Loose wiring can cause an electrical arc or short, increasing the risk of fire.
Corrective action:: Dealers will inspect and replace the power inlet, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2022. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 22-428.

2022 KEYSTONE ALPINE Complaints
The contact owns a 2022 Keystone Alpine RV. The contact stated that upon delivery, the RV pipes were frozen. Additionally, the contact stated that the driver's side and the top large windows were shattered in the living room. The back wall had separated from the kitchen counter back wall. The solar panels failed to charge. There was water pouring from the belly of the unit. There was vibration while pulling RV. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, where the parts were replaced under the warranty after 280 hours. The mobile technician came to repair the frozen pipes. The manufacturer was contacted by letter, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was unknown.;
2022 KEYSTONE ARCADIA Complaints
The rear wall developed a gap shortly after delivery. RV was brought back to dealer for a repair. The repair from dealer was to caulk the gap. This is insufficient as the wall is not attached at the bottom to the frame. This defect renders the rear wall incapable of using the storage above the couch as the wall can not hold the weight and there for pulls away from the bottom of the trailer causing the gap. The brakes are electrically defective as they used non water proof connectors to wire the brakes. The brakes failed in a rain storm.;
2022 KEYSTONE AVALANCHE Complaints
This was part of a prior recall. Vehicle Information : Keystone RV Company SEP 29, 2022 22V-726 22-437. We had it repaired because we lost our footpad shortly after purchasing the trailer. The recall was issued in 2022. Memorial Day weekend 2024 the exact same footpad came off again after supposedly being repaired at the dealership. It caused tire damage that had to be replaced. Luckily no one was injured.;
2022 KEYSTONE FUZION Complaints
The frame has broke on this camper, Keystone knows it has an issue with the welding not being correct, they sent out a TSB for this because of the large number of incidences. This then causes many other items to break when frame is broke, including slide outs, roofs and doors and interior walls. Rain gets into doors and mold develops too. ****Also the fuse box for the camper is located behind a slide out. Once the slide out is in it is impossible to access the fuse box which is a major safety and fire concerns. We have had this happen when a continuing electrical issue caused us to not be able to move the slide out to get to the fuse box. An electrical issue that is never fixed properly each of the many times we have had our camper in to be fixed. Our camper is at the service dept now for 9 months and still isn’t repaired.;
