Forest River, Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2022 Coachmen Galleria

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, and Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain 2-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 162 units affected.

Description:: Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, and Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain 2-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.
Consequeces:: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service Phone Number 1-574-825-6319. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1513.

2022 COACHMEN BEYOND Complaints
205/75R16C front left tire blew out. Complete tire tread separating. Traveling 60 mph. No warning. Tread depth was 8/32 at the time. Caused vehicle to lose control. Seems to be a reoccurrence with Hankook on the vehicles;
2022 COACHMEN GALLERIA Complaints
High altitude power loss. At around 8000' elevation, 60 degrees F. Engine was turned off for around 3 hours, started normally, idle normal, shifted into reverse and there was no power. It barely crept out of level parking place with accelerator floored. Engine continued to run smoothly but no power. I was half in the parking spot, half in the street and couldn't move forward or reverse. No warning lights prior / during / or after the problem. Approximately 4500 miles on van. Note - vehicle put into 4x4 low range in attempt to use the extra gearing to move back into parking lot out of the street - this worked at a very slow pace. After multiple attempts to move, about 5 minutes total - it started making normal power again. Minor versions of this have occurred several times at 5000-10000' in Colorado. Van ran normally once back to lower altitudes.;
2022 COACHMEN NOVA Complaints
The contact owns a 2022 Coachmen Nova RV. The contact stated that he received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V286000 (Fuel System, Gasoline), and the RV was taken to the dealer, where the recall repair was completed; however, the contact stated that 40 days later, while the RV was parked with the generator running, he smelled a strong gasoline odor. The contact stated that upon inspecting underneath the RV, he noticed that gasoline was leaking significantly from the generator. The contact turned off the generator. The contact was able to drive the RV to the campsite, where it was plugged into an electrical source. The contact stated that he was concerned for his safety because the recall remedy was inadequate to provide safety while using the RV. The dealer was notified of the failure and an appointment was scheduled. The RV was not diagnosed nor repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 3,500. The VIN was unavailable.;
