Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Eagle, Eagle HT, Jayflight, Jayflight SLX, North point, Pinnacle, and Seismic travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 11,532 units affected.

Description:: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Eagle, Eagle HT, Jayflight, Jayflight SLX, North point, Pinnacle, and Seismic travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.
Consequeces:: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.
Corrective action:: Dealers will inspect and repair, or if necessary, replace awning fabric, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco's customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9901578.

2023 JAYCO FIFTH WHEEL NORTH POINT Complaints
The contact owns a 2023 Jayco North Point Travel Trailer equipped with a Norcold refrigerator, Model Number: 2118SST, Serial Number: NR07DS0. The contact discovered a yellow fluid leaking from the outside of the trailer due to a refrigerator propane line leak. The refrigerator was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V784000 (Equipment); however, the year, make, and model of the RV were not associated with the recall. The RV manufacturer was made aware of the failure; however, the contact stated that the refrigerator manufacturer was not made aware of the failure since the manufacturer had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.;
2023 JAYCO FIFTH WHEEL SEISMIC Complaints
Since the beginning of ownership have heard creaking in the floors. Then noticed doors are closing harder and bolts and screws on the left hand side are coming out. Finally noticed a stress crack of about 5” at a 45 degree angle on front corner of the master bedroom slide. Took a 6 hour trip and now the crack is 2.5 ft. The dealership investigated it and found that the wall studs have broken away from the frame causing the “wall to free float” Have been told it is unsafe to travel and reading on the internet this seems to be happening more on toy haulers or heavy fifth wheels. It appears to be under-engineered and a safety hazard.;
2023 JAYCO TRAVEL TRAILER EAGLE Complaints
The contact owns a 2023 Ram 3500 used for hauling a 2023 Jayco Eagle RV. The contact stated that while driving at 65 MPH, the contact became aware that the RV slide out extended unintendedly. The vehicle was steered to the side of the road and the RV slide out was manually pushed back into place. The RV was taken to a dealer but was not yet diagnosed. The RV was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 4,000.;
