Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 Front Discharge Mixer Commander vehicles. The front-drive steer axle fasteners may not have been tightened sufficiently and could come loose, resulting in a complete separation of the axle assembly joints.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 20 units affected.

- Terex Advance Mixer, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2022 Front Discharge Mixer Commander vehicles. The front-drive steer axle fasteners may not have been tightened sufficiently and could come loose, resulting in a complete separation of the axle assembly joints.
- Consequeces:
- Steer axle assembly separation can result in a loss of vehicle control, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Meritor will inspect and repair the axle assembly joints, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 18, 2023. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-800-678-5961.
