Jayco, Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2022 Jayco Atlante

Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Jayco Atlante, Precept, Precept Prestige, Entegra Emblem, Vision, and Vision XL motorhomes. The rear stabilizer bar attachment brackets may break and separate from the vehicle.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 19 units affected.

Description:: Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Jayco Atlante, Precept, Precept Prestige, Entegra Emblem, Vision, and Vision XL motorhomes. The rear stabilizer bar attachment brackets may break and separate from the vehicle.
Consequeces:: Brackets that separate from the vehicle can create a road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will inspect the bolt tightness for both rear stabilizer attachment brackets and replace the weld nuts, bolts, and brackets as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2023. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is Ford 22V-731.

2022 ENTEGRA VISION Complaints
While driving on the interstate, the automated front shade system failed. The shade unrolled instantaneously blocking the entire front windshield. The driver and passenger were able to get a hold of it and lift it out of the way to regain view but this took several seconds during which the driver had no view of the road, lanes or vehicles surrounding us. The driver had to take attention from the road and a hand off the wheel to find and lift the shade out of the way. This put us at risk and all drivers surrounding us at risk. If we had been on a road with a curve or if there had been more traffic the outcome could have been far worse. The system should have safeguards to prevent this type of failure. The dealer confirmed that the shade system failed. Jayco has an active case number for this incident but cannot confirm if any action will be taken. The vehicle had under 7000 miles at the time.;
2022 JAYCO ALANTE Complaints
Our Jayco 166fbs trailered RV'S fresh water tank fell out of our rv on a camping trip to northern Michigan. On August 10th while on the way to Glen Arbor Mi while at a stop in Clare Mi it was noticed that there was a very large puddle of water where the RV was parked. Upon further inspection it was found that the two of the three straps that hold the 55 gallon fresh water tank by sheet metal screws had broken and caused the tank to fall and break the connections. .;
2022 JAYCO PRECEPT Complaints
[XXX] we were camping in Maryland. I attempted to exit the motorhome through the only exit door. When I turned the door handle to open the door the handle fell off. We were not able to exit the motorhome. I called the RV Office and they sent over a maintenance man who had to open the door from the outside. The back end of the handle fell off the handle. The handle is made from aluminum and the end is rolled over there is a snap ring in a groove as cell. The snap ring groove apparently wore out which caused the whole device to fall apart. This could have been a catastrophic event in the case of an emergency. I could not locate a replacement part in the area where we are camping so I decided to fix it myself. I went to the hardware store and purchased a 5/16 by 18 tap and a drill bit and a washer and a bolt. The entire lock mechanism should be reworked to prevent a possible fatality.
