Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2022 AT335 vehicles. An inverter-powered outlet may have been installed at the aerial boom tip without ground-fault interrupter (GFCI) protection.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 18 units affected.

Description:
Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2022 AT335 vehicles. An inverter-powered outlet may have been installed at the aerial boom tip without ground-fault interrupter (GFCI) protection.
Consequeces:
An outlet without GFCI protection may fail to shut off electrical power when a ground-fault occurs, increasing the risk of injury or fire.
Corrective action:
Dealers will inspect and install a GFCI outlet as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 25, 2023. Owners may contact Altec's customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN 3091.
