Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024 Volvo VNL and VNR trucks. A software programming error may cause the electronic stability control (ESC) to be inoperative.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 29 units affected.

- Description:
- Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024 Volvo VNL and VNR trucks. A software programming error may cause the electronic stability control (ESC) to be inoperative.
- Consequeces:
- Driving with an inoperative electronic stability control system can increase the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will reprogram the control unit software, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed December 3, 2023. Owners may contact Volvo Trucks' customer service at 1-800-528-6586. Volvo Trucks' number for this recall is RVXX2310.
