Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2021-2023 TL48 trucks. The bolts used to mount the aerial device to the sub-base may not be tightened properly, which could result in bolt failure, allowing the aerial device to fall.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 17 units affected.

- Description:
- Terex South Dakota, Inc. (Terex) is recalling certain 2021-2023 TL48 trucks. The bolts used to mount the aerial device to the sub-base may not be tightened properly, which could result in bolt failure, allowing the aerial device to fall.
- Consequeces:
- An aerial device that falls increases the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will replace the mounting bolts and washers, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 17, 2023. Owners may contact Terex customer service at 1-605-882-4000. Terex's number for this recall is SN723.
