General Motors (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV vehicles. An incorrect seat belt bezel on the second-row center seat belt may damage or tear the seat belt in the event of a crash.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 338 units affected.

- Description:
- General Motors (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV vehicles. An incorrect seat belt bezel on the second-row center seat belt may damage or tear the seat belt in the event of a crash.
- Consequeces:
- A torn or damaged seat belt may not properly restrain an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Do not allow passengers to sit in the second-row center seat until remedied. Dealers will replace the second-row center seat belt bezel, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2024. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020. GM's number for this recall is N242430730.
