Chrysler is recalling certain 2023 Chrysler 300

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger vehicles. The parking brake may be improperly adjusted, which can result in a vehicle roll away. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,808 units affected.

Description:: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger, and Dodge Challenger vehicles. The parking brake may be improperly adjusted, which can result in a vehicle roll away. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 135, "Light Vehicle Brake Systems."
Consequeces:: A vehicle roll away increases the risk of a crash or injury.
Corrective action:: Dealers will properly adjust the parking brake, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 01B.

2023 CHRYSLER 300 Complaints
The brake rotors on my 2023 Chrysler 300C failed prematurely at 25,000 miles. The vehicle is equipped with a factory-installed Brembo four-piston high-performance brake system. The failure presented as brake pedal pulsation and vibration during normal stopping, consistent with warped rotors, which reduces braking effectiveness and control and poses a risk in any situation requiring emergency braking. No warning lamps or messages appeared prior to the failure. The issue was confirmed by my authorized Chrysler dealership, however warranty coverage was denied and the failure was classified as wear and tear. This complaint is consistent with NHTSA Complaint ID Number 11661039, filed May 14, 2025, which documents an identical failure on a Chrysler 300 equipped with the same factory Brembo brake system, with rotor warping reported at just 5,260 miles under normal driving conditions. That complaint similarly attributes the failure to excessive heat generated by the Brembo calipers causing premature rotor warping, suggesting this may be a broader issue with the Brembo brake configuration on this vehicle platform;
2023 DODGE CHALLENGER Complaints
Have a crack that started from A pillar without any indication of any hit on the windshield. Took to dealer and they checked and agreed it has no chip that started the crack and there are numerous reports of 2023 Challengers windshields cracking for no reason in the exact same spot. Dealer tried to get a good will done through Stellantis and they denied the claim because it was over the 12 month warranty;
2023 DODGE CHARGER Complaints
The parking brake system on my 2023 Dodge Charger has repeatedly become loose and does not hold the vehicle securely. The vehicle has been taken to a Dodge dealership multiple times for adjustment or repair of the parking brake. After the most recent dealership service, the parking brake worked temporarily, but approximately one month later it became loose again and stopped holding the vehicle properly. The problem is especially concerning when the vehicle is parked on the sloped driveway outside my garage. Even when the parking brake is fully applied, the vehicle is not securely held in place and could potentially roll downhill, creating a safety risk to people, other vehicles, and property. The issue has been reproduced and confirmed through repeated dealership inspections and adjustments, but the repair has not provided a permanent solution. There were no warning lights or dashboard messages before the parking brake became loose. The main symptom is that the parking brake has little or no holding force when applied. The vehicle and parking brake system are available for inspection upon request. I am concerned that there may be a defect in the parking brake system because the problem continues to return after dealership service.;
