Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Cherokee CKT20-0G travel trailers. During installation, an incorrect length screw was used to install the microwave, which allowed the screw to enter the microwave compartment.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 63 units affected.

- Description:
- Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025 Cherokee CKT20-0G travel trailers. During installation, an incorrect length screw was used to install the microwave, which allowed the screw to enter the microwave compartment.
- Consequeces:
- The presence of a screw in the microwave compartment can cause electrical arcing, increasing the risk of a fire.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will inspect and replace the microwave as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 7, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100. Forest River's number for this recall is 89-1819.
