Chrysler is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric vehicles

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles. Incorrect software in the motor control processor module (MCPA) may cause a loss of drive power.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 336 units affected.

- Description:
- Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024 Ram Promaster Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles. Incorrect software in the motor control processor module (MCPA) may cause a loss of drive power.
- Consequeces:
- A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will update the MCPA software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 31, 2024. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 99B.
