Nova Bus Inc. is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses

Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. A software error may cause the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) to crash, disconnecting the high voltage batteries and causing a loss of drive power.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 40 units affected.

- Description:
- Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. A software error may cause the Vehicle Control Unit (VCU) to crash, disconnecting the high voltage batteries and causing a loss of drive power.
- Consequeces:
- A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Nova Bus will validate and update the VCU software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 2, 2024. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5643.
