Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2025 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The second-row center seat belt buckle may not latch correctly due to a manufacturing error.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 7,276 units affected.

Description:: Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2025 Range Rover and Range Rover Sport vehicles. The second-row center seat belt buckle may not latch correctly due to a manufacturing error.
Consequeces:: An unlatched seat belt will not properly restrain an occupant, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the center seat belt buckle and buckle retaining bolt, free of charge. Owner notification letters were April 22, 2025. Owners may contact Jaguar's customer service at 1-800-452-4827. Jaguar's number for this recall is N989.

2025 Land Rover Range Rover Sport P400 Dynamic SE, VIN [XXX]. Leased new March 2025; 11,690 miles. The instrument cluster repeatedly displays "Please check engine coolant level" although the vehicle is not due for service. The cooling system is sealed and coolant should not be consumed or lost on a vehicle this new, indicating a leak or a defective level sensor. Land Rover has documented this exact symptom in manufacturer communications filed with NHTSA for the 2025 Range Rover Sport (July 2025: engine coolant leak, low coolant warning) and in a dealer bulletin for turbocharger coolant feed/return hose O-ring leaks on the Ingenium I6 3.0L petrol engine (bulletin D061). An undetected coolant leak can lead to engine overheating and sudden loss of power. I am requesting that this defect be investigated and recorded.
