Tesla, Inc. is recalling certain 2021-2024 Model S and 2021-2025 Model X vehicles

Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Model S and 2021-2025 Model X vehicles. An air bag with the incorrect horn pad may have been installed, preventing the horn from sounding.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 91 units affected.

Description:: Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Model S and 2021-2025 Model X vehicles. An air bag with the incorrect horn pad may have been installed, preventing the horn from sounding.
Consequeces:: An inoperative horn may prevent the driver from alerting other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Tesla service will inspect and install an air bag with the correct horn pad as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 20, 2025. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is SB-25-20-001.

2024 TESLA MODEL S Complaints
2024 Tesla Model S. Repeated rear tire and rear wheel failures with abnormal wear and possible rear alignment or suspension-related defect. Tesla service history shows repeated rear tire replacements beginning at about 5,165 miles, a later four-wheel alignment, a right rear tire replacement for uneven tire wear under the basic vehicle warranty at about 21,594 miles, a documented bent left rear wheel at about 27,047 miles, a left rear wheel replacement due to crack after a low-pressure/PULL OVER SAFELY alert at about 30,489 miles, and then a right rear tire blowout at about 38,358 miles. In the same March 12, 2026 service record, Tesla also noted inner sidewall damage on the opposite rear tire. Concern is an unresolved recurring rear tire, wheel, alignment, or suspension defect creating blowout risk and unsafe operation. Tesla has replaced tires and wheels but has not identified or corrected the root cause.;
2025 TESLA MODEL X Complaints
The Full-Self Drive of my Tesla failed to follow the programmed navigation directions I set to take me home in one direction, but instead the vehicle took a completely different path on its own. When the vehicle was programmed to turn right towards my home, the car quickly jerked back into traffic and I was forced to take control before accidentally hitting another vehicle The vehicle continued to go into another direction and did the same thing several times later. I put my home address in the navigation to go home, but as soon as my Tesla was about to turn right into my subdivision it quickly pulled and jerked me left back into traffic and took me completely into another direction several days again. I let the car complete its misdirection and the car took me around the block into a parking lot and bought me back to my original planned destination to my home;
