Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Taycan vehicles. An occupant classification system error may deactivate the front passenger air bag.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 9,735 units affected.

- Description:
- Porsche Cars North America, Inc. (Porsche) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Taycan vehicles. An occupant classification system error may deactivate the front passenger air bag.
- Consequeces:
- An air bag that fails to deploy during a crash increases the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will replace the front passenger seat cushion, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed November 24, 2025. Owners may contact Porsche customer service at 1-800-767-7243. Porsche's number for this recall is ASA2.
