Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Digger Derrick vehicles. An improperly seated retaining ring may cause the hydraulic cylinder to lose pressure, resulting in unintended boom movement.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 900 units affected.

- Description:
- Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Digger Derrick vehicles. An improperly seated retaining ring may cause the hydraulic cylinder to lose pressure, resulting in unintended boom movement.
- Consequeces:
- Unintended boom movement increases the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will replace the counterbalance valves, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 13, 2025. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3223.
