Tesla, Inc. is recalling certain 2026 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles

Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2026 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. The fasteners attaching the seat back to the seat bottom may have been improperly tightened.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 48 units affected.

Description:: Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2026 Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. The fasteners attaching the seat back to the seat bottom may have been improperly tightened.
Consequeces:: The seat may not properly restrain the occupant, increasing the risk of injury during a crash.
Corrective action:: Tesla Service Centers will inspect and tighten or replace the seat assembly fasteners as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 16, 2025. Owners may contact Tesla customer service at 1-877-798-3752. Tesla's number for this recall is SB-25-13-003.

2026 TESLA MODEL 3 Complaints
When using Tesla's Full Self Driving (supervised) speed control is erratic and not subject to the driver's control, such as it would be when using adaptive cruise control. As a result, the available speed modes (sloth, chill, standard, hurry and Mad Max) can cause the vehicle to dangerously exceed speed limits and at times to drive well below the posted speed limit, causing confusion and frustration to following drivers. There is no reason why the software cannot be changed to a safer method that would permit the driver to select the speed at which the car will travel, i.e. the speed limit, similar to adaptive cruise control found in most modern vehicles. When the operator of a vehicle is not in charge of the vehicle's speed, this is inherently dangerous.;
2026 TESLA MODEL Y Complaints
Full self driving (FSD) has taken away my ability to set a maximum speed. Car is frequently wrong about the speed limit, especially in constructions zones where the speed limit changes more often. Car goes way too fast, then thinks the speed limit dropped and slows way down and then speeds up again. In addition, the 4 speed profiles they gave us instead of a simple max speed setting are useless. Standard mode usually works best but will sometimes do more than 15 mph over what it thinks the speed limit is.;
