Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150, and 2022 Expedition vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving.

The recall was influenced by the Office of Defects Investigation with about 850,318 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Bronco, Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, F-250 SD, F-350 SD, F-450 SD, F-550 SD, 2021-2022 Lincoln Navigator, Mustang, F-150, and 2022 Expedition vehicles. The low-pressure fuel pump may fail, which can result in an engine stall while driving.
Consequeces:: An engine stall increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the low pressure fuel pump on super duty vehicles and update the powertrain control module (PCM) software on all other affected vehicles, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 27, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 25S75.

2022 FORD EXPEDITION Complaints
1. There was front suspension failure where the lower ball joint has separated, causing the steering knuckle and wheel assembly to detach and collapse while driving- yes it is available to inspect if done tomorrow 2. Driver could not control car, passengers and other cars on road in immediate danger. Car was swerving with loss of control 3 Independent service center looked-this should have not have happened. 4 No happened yesterday was going to bring to dealer after Ind looked at it 5. No warning;
2022 FORD F-150 Complaints
The daytime running lights are out. Vehicle is available for inspection. This puts my safety and the safety of others at risk by not being o by reducing visibility of the vehicle during low light scenarios where the headlights are off. Example I live in an area with lots of fog and drive a gray vehicle that is not clearly visible if headlights are off due to light exposure. Problem is consistent and able to be reproduced for inspection. Vehicle has not been inspected by any agent to this point but it is available and will be noticed upon inspection by direction. There are no warning lamps or messages alerting driver of malfunction which poses another safety risk. Problem has been consistent for past 3 weeks upon every start.;
2022 FORD MUSTANG MACH E Complaints
Spot welds have failed on the drivers side door. This is a known issue with multiple ford vehicles, though they have not issued a recall for this specific model.;
2022 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR Complaints
I am submitting a formal complaint regarding my 2022 Lincoln Navigator, VIN [XXX], which I purchased new from a Lincoln dealership in [XXX]. Since purchasing the vehicle, it has experienced multiple significant mechanical, safety, and reliability problems: The transmission required repair, and the vehicle remained at the repair facility for more than one month while the work was completed. The original tires had to be replaced, resulting in an out-of-pocket expense of approximately $1,900. The suspension has not operated properly since we purchased the vehicle and continues to cause concern. The vehicle has reportedly been affected by seven recalls. The entire air-conditioning system now needs repair, and I have been quoted approximately $2,700. The continuing transmission and suspension problems are particularly concerning because they may affect the vehicle’s safe operation. Considering that this Navigator was purchased new and is a premium vehicle, this history of repeated defects, recalls, extended repair time, and substantial expenses is unacceptable. I respectfully request: A comprehensive review of the vehicle’s complete warranty, recall, and repair history. A thorough inspection of the transmission and suspension to determine whether the vehicle can be operated safely. Repair of the complete air-conditioning system at no cost to me. Reimbursement of the approximately $1,900 paid to replace the tires. Appropriate reimbursement for transportation expenses and the extended period the vehicle was unavailable. Consideration of a manufacturer repurchase, replacement vehicle, extended warranty, or other substantial goodwill assistance because of the vehicle’s continuing problems. Please establish a formal case, provide me with the case number, and respond in writing within 10 business days. I am prepared to provide the purchase agreement, repair orders, tire invoice, air-conditioning estimate, recall notices, photographs, and any o INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U;
2023 FORD BRONCO SPORT Complaints
My 2023 Ford Bronco Sport is subject to NHTSA Safety Recall 25V467 / Ford Recall 25S76, issued July 16, 2025. Ford states that a fuel injector may crack, resulting in fuel accumulating on top of the engine. Ford further states that liquid fuel or fuel vapor accumulating near hot engine or exhaust components may ignite and result in an under-hood fire, increasing the risk of injury. As of September 2026, more than a year after this recall was issued, Ford's VIN-specific recall website continues to show the recall as incomplete and states: "Parts are not currently available. Ford Motor Company is working to provide parts for this repair." I am concerned that I am being expected to continue operating a vehicle with a manufacturer-acknowledged fuel leak and fire hazard while no final repair is available. I am requesting that NHTSA review Ford's continued inability to provide the remedy for Recall 25V467/25S76 and determine whether Ford is meeting its obligation to provide an effective safety recall remedy within a reasonable period of time. I would also like NHTSA to determine whether additional interim safety instructions or other action is warranted for owners who continue to operate these vehicles while awaiting repair.;
