General Motors (GM) is recalling certain 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ vehicles and 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ vehicles. The bolts attaching the high voltage battery to the interior floor may be missing or loose.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 53 units affected.

Description:: General Motors (GM) is recalling certain 2026 Cadillac VISTIQ vehicles and 2025 Cadillac LYRIQ vehicles. The bolts attaching the high voltage battery to the interior floor may be missing or loose.
Consequeces:: An improperly secured battery may become damaged in a crash, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective action:: Dealers will inspect the high-voltage battery bolts and replace or re-tighten the bolts, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are scheduled to be mailed September 8, 2025. Owners may contact Cadillac customer service at 1-800-333-4223. GM's number for this recall is N252511300.

2025 CADILLAC LYRIQ Complaints
On XXX, I was involved in a collision with my 2025 Cadillac Lyriq with vin # [XXX]. in which my vehicle struck a parked car, then a tree, then a curb, in sequence, at approximately 30 mph. The vehicle continued onto the curb after the final impact. All passengers sustained injuries and required X-rays and medical treatment. There were no warning lights or dashboard indicators prior to the collision suggesting any system malfunction. During the collision, the front airbags did not deploy despite multiple significant impacts. Additionally, Automatic emergency braking didn't engage as it should Following the collision, inspection showed extensive front-end damage including damage to the tires, suspension, and cross member, hood, grill, fender etc. requiring full front-end replacement. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate the non-deployment of the airbag system and the brake failure in relation to this incident. 2026 CADILLAC VISTIQ Complaints
Vehicle displayed a 'Lithium Ion Battery – Schedule Service Now' warning within approximately one month of delivery. Dealership service records later obtained by our attorney show the identical diagnostic condition was already present and was cleared via a system reset on the date of delivery, October 23, 2025, without disclosure to us. The defect was 'repaired' in December 2025 (diagnostic code P13FB, coolant control valve replacement) but recurred in May 2026, with the warning consistently reappearing whenever ambient temperature rose above approximately 80°F, accompanied by complete loss of air conditioning. The vehicle has been out of service since June 4, 2026. We consider this a potential safety issue given the recurring high-voltage battery fault and are concerned other VISTIQ owners may be experiencing the same condition without knowing it was present before delivery. Since retaining legal counsel, a temporary repair was made, but the vehicle is now also subject to a manufacturer recall that renders the third row unusable, with no permanent remedy currently available. We are concerned this reflects an unresolved and possibly unfixable condition affecting vehicle safety and usability.;
