Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F250

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F250, F350, F450, F550, 2021-2022 F600, and 2022 F750 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 24V957. Biodiesel deposits may form on the pump drivetrain roller components, which could lead to failure of the high pressure fuel pump.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 9,839 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2022 F-Super Duty F250, F350, F450, F550, 2021-2022 F600, and 2022 F750 vehicles previously repaired incorrectly under recall number 24V957. Biodiesel deposits may form on the pump drivetrain roller components, which could lead to failure of the high pressure fuel pump.
Consequeces:: High pressure fuel pump failure can cause a loss of drive power, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will update the powertrain control module (PCM) software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed mailed April 7, 2026. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 26S17. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov on March 18, 2026.

2022 FORD F-250 SD Complaints
The backup camera failed. Vehicle had a 1 year customer satisfaction program and Ford would not repair this because it failed outside the 1 year window. Now, they came out with a 15 year one time fix, but Ford does not have a remedy. This is a safety issue and should be a recall (just like it is on our 2 Ford Mavericks)! The camera was also hanging up and not allowing the sync system to shut off which was consistently draining our battery. Had our sync system updated at local mechanics shop and camera/sync started working again for a couple of weeks and its back to blue or black screen saying “camera unavailable contact dealership.” My dealership said no remedy available until Feb 2027. The vehicle also states “check your surroundings” but you can’t because it doesn’t work. This at a minimum should be a recall as it is a safety issue and it is on other Ford vehicles.;
2022 FORD F-350 SD Complaints
I have contacted my dealer several times over the past year, and filed a complaint with Ford Motor Company's, Office of General Counsel. To date, NO response from Ford. The dealer relies on Ford for the fix. This is an alarming issue, in that the failure will be mostly unexpected and perhaps catastrophic. I find it unusual and negligent for Ford to take this long for the remedy. My dealer tells me no parts are available. I drive sometimes out of state. I may get stranded and still no one can fix the issue. Ford needs "jacking up" to get this done. Fourteen months have lapsed and its way overdue.;
2022 FORD F-450 SD Complaints
After updating Manufacturer Recall Number25SA8, My backup camera and all other cameras are not working. Ford is refussing to replace the Module B free of charge. Looks like I'm going to have to pay then go after them to get my money back. They keep trying to update and the updates are not working. Everything was working as it should be it went to the dealership. Now it is a seroius safty as I have no cameras at all.;
2022 FORD F-550 SD Complaints
Truck has approximate 60,000 miles. Was driving in rain and lost control of all electrical systems and died in the middle of the highway. No lights to warn other drivers. Shop said the pcm fried and will need a need pcm to fix the issue. Very dangerous;
2022 FORD F-600 SD Complaints
Operator was driving the vehicle and was approaching a stop. As the operator came to a stop, the engine stalled and there was white smoke noticed to be coming from under the hood. The operator tried to restart the engine but it would not start. At that time the white smoke became more noticeable, and the vehicle engine compartment became engulfed in flames. Attempts to extinguish the fire were unsuccessful and 911 was called for assistance. No injuries were sustained during the incident.;
