Hyundai Motor America (Genesis) is recalling certain Genesis 2022-2026 GV70, 2023-2025 G90, 2021-2025 G80, and GV80 vehicles. Fuel may leak at the pipe connection between the fuel pipe and fuel rail.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 94,760 units affected.

Description:: Hyundai Motor America (Genesis) is recalling certain Genesis 2022-2026 GV70, 2023-2025 G90, 2021-2025 G80, and GV80 vehicles. Fuel may leak at the pipe connection between the fuel pipe and fuel rail.
Consequeces:: A fuel leak increases the risk of a fire.
Corrective action:: Dealers will inspect and tighten, or replace the fuel pipe as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed beginning July 20, 2026. Owners may contact Genesis customer service at 844-340-9741. Genesis' number for this recall is 033G. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall became searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning April 11, 2026.

2025 GENESIS G80 Complaints
On Oct 14, 2025 I was traveling on route 287 north in cruise control set at 67 mph. Suddenly the dashboard screen went black and the car floored itself. The gas pedal went to the floor. It took a few seconds to realize what was going on. When the dashboard lit back up I was going over 100 mph. I quickly applied the brakes which disengaged it. It never happened again. The car is currently at the dealership but they could not reproduce the problem. They said it did not throw a code either. I felt it was important to report this so I am.;
2025 GENESIS G90 Complaints
Inattentive driver alert activates randomly and without cause. Seems to happen when wearing sunglasses, regardless of drivers actual state of alertness. genesis has removed the ability to disable this feature starting with the 2025 models year, which poses a safely issue due to repeated audio and visual warnings while driving.;
2025 GENESIS GV80 Complaints
I received a safety recall notification in the mail regarding my 2025 Genesis GV80 reference High Pressure Fuel Crossover Pipe which at this time NO REMEDY is AVAILABLE. This matter has to be resolved ASAP due to a safety hazard to me and my family.;
2026 GENESIS GV70 Complaints
On August 1, 2026, the right rear passenger door of our Genesis GV70 opened while we were traveling approximately 75 mph, approximately 25 minutes into our drive. We purchased the vehicle new on March 20, 2026. During the approximately 25 minutes of driving before the incident, we received no door-open or door-ajar warning. The warning first occurred when the door physically opened, providing no advance indication that the door might not be secure and no opportunity to stop before it opened. My daughter was seated beside the right rear door and was leaning against it when it opened. She had to grab the door and physically hold it shut. This created an immediate risk of serious injury to an occupant at highway speed. My safety complaint concerns both the door opening while the vehicle was moving and the timing of the door-warning system’s activation. I cannot determine whether the door was improperly latched before the incident, whether the latch failed during the drive, or whether a sensor or other component malfunctioned. What we observed is that no warning was provided during the preceding drive; the warning activated only when the door opened. We delivered the vehicle to the dealership on August 4, 2026. The dealership has retained it for investigation but has stated that it cannot duplicate the door incident. We have not been provided with an identified cause or a confirmed repair addressing the door opening and warning behavior. We have also reported recurring electronic problems and supplied the dealership with videos documenting those issues. I request that NHTSA investigate the door-latching mechanism and associated door-warning system, including whether an unsafe door condition can remain undetected or unreported until the door opens while driving.;
