Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025-2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The emergency stop switch located at the turntable is inoperative when the upper controls interlock is active and allows the upper and lower controls to remain powered when the emergency stop is depressed.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 40 units affected.

Description:
Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025-2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The emergency stop switch located at the turntable is inoperative when the upper controls interlock is active and allows the upper and lower controls to remain powered when the emergency stop is depressed.
Consequeces:
An inoperative emergency stop switch increases the risk of injury.
Corrective action:
Altec will notify owners to inspect for the presence of an adapter harness. If installed, the owner will be instructed to notify Altec, and no further action is needed. If the harness is not installed, Altec will provide a kit to complete the repair, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 9, 2026. Owners may contact Altec customer service at 1-877-462-5832. Altec's number for this recall is CSN-3307.
