Chrysler is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 16 units affected.

Description:: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2019 and 2023 Chrysler Pacifica, 2024 Ram 1500, Ram 2500, and 2024-2025 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. Contamination in the central vision processing module or improper programming may cause the rearview camera image not to display. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, "Rear Visibility."
Consequeces:: A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will update the central vision processing module software or replace the module, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed beginning July 16, 2026. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 46D. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov on May 28, 2026.

2023 CHRYSLER PACIFICA Complaints
Car shows no warnings when vehicle in front slows very quickly. All selections to enable this function have been made. It is available for inspection provided it is local to central Florida. In my previous vehicle, a 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee, I relied on and received Forward Collision Warnings which prevented my crashing into another car no less than 4 times. Though this car has been ADAS scanned (3 times) with appropriate scanners, no codes are detected. It has been “calibrated” by a body shop recommended by the dealer where I was assured it was “working.” It is not. I’ve taken it to an iCar certified ADAS cal facility and was told it all checks out, there’s nothing they can do for me. Meanwhile, I do not have Forward Collision Warnings. As I have to have wheelchair accessibility, I’m stuck with this vehicle.;
2024 RAM 1500 Complaints
My mom was driving my 2024 Ram 1500 Limited equipped with eTorque and was coming to a stop. While decelerating, the vehicle suddenly and unexpectedly accelerated forward without her intentionally pressing the accelerator pedal. She immediately applied the brakes in an attempt to stop the vehicle, but I was unable to stop it before the vehicle struck a brick building. The collision caused damage to the front of my vehicle and substantial damage to the building’s brick exterior wall. The acceleration was unexpected and occurred while she was attempting to slow/stop the vehicle. I am concerned that an electronic throttle, powertrain, eTorque/48-volt system, braking, software, or other vehicle malfunction may have contributed to the incident. The exact cause has not yet been determined. I am requesting that this incident be documented and investigated as a potential vehicle safety defect.;
2024 RAM 2500 Complaints
While driving a phantom auto trailer light will come on and I am not tow anything. While towing phantom check brake wiring and trailer brake disconnected warning lights appear.;
2025 JEEP WRANGLER Complaints
While driving the car in electric mode The car has very bad lag/hesitation while driving on the highway And when at a stop pulling out into traffic. After driving it in electric mode for approximately 8 miles. It will also feel as though it is not as powerful. I feel as though this could cause an accident from lack of power and hesitation.;
