Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Dodge Hornet and 2023-2026 Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles. The rear outboard seat belts may become twisted and fail to retract properly.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 48,777 units affected.

- Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Dodge Hornet and 2023-2026 Alfa Romeo Tonale vehicles. The rear outboard seat belts may become twisted and fail to retract properly.
- Consequeces:
- A seat belt that does not retract may fail to restrain properly an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- Dealers will replace the retractors, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed September 17, 2026. A second notice will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is 84D.
