Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LFS transit buses. The emergency brake valve may have been improperly tightened. A loose connection may cause an air leak and the unintentional activation of the parking brake.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 5 units affected.

- Description:
- Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2024-2025 LFS transit buses. The emergency brake valve may have been improperly tightened. A loose connection may cause an air leak and the unintentional activation of the parking brake.
- Consequeces:
- The bus may suddenly slow or stop without the brake lights turning on, increasing the risk of a crash.
- Corrective action:
- Nova Bus will inspect and properly tighten the air line connections as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed November 21, 2026. Owners may contact Nova Bus customer service at 1-800-350-6682. Nova Bus's number for this recall is CR5494.
