E-ONE CYCLONE II Recalls

Aug 19, 2026 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2026 Cyclone 2, 2025-2026 Cyclone, and Typhoon fire trucks. The hydraulic valve may become inoperative, preventing the outriggers from being extended or retracted.

Oct 11, 2024 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Cyclone 2, Typhoon N, 2021- 2024 Cyclone N, and 2021 Quest 2 vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.

Aug 30, 2024 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, 2022-2024 Cyclone N, and Typhoon N vehicles. The engine crossmember may break, allowing the cooling fan to contact the fan shroud and become damaged.

Jan 12, 2024 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, Cyclone N, Typhoon N, and 2023 Cyclone E vehicles. The steering assist bracket may have been machined incorrectly.

Jan 08, 2024 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2021-2023 ARFF, Cyclone N, 2020-2024 Commercial, 2020, 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, 2023 Cyclone E, 2022 Typhoon, and 2020-2023 Typhoon N vehicles. In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware in the vehicle multiplex system may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.

Jun 30, 2023 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Cyclone 2, Cyclone N, and Typhoon N vehicles. The transmission cooler may be insufficiently welded, which can result in engine coolant contaminating the transmission fluid.

Nov 18, 2022 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Cyclone 2 and 2020-2021 Typhoon N emergency vehicles. Exhaust heat may build up inside the vehicle body in certain situations such as heavy engine use, possibly causing nearby components to overheat.

Oct 20, 2022 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2022 Cyclone 2, Cyclone N, and Typhoon N vehicles. The tie rod clamps may have been improperly heat-treated, causing them to crack and allowing the tie rods to separate.

Jul 26, 2022 – E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Cyclone 2, 2020 Commercial, Quest 2, 2020-2021 Typhoon, 2021 Cyclone N, and 2020-2022 Typhoon N fire trucks. The neutral screw connection within the QO Plug-On Neutral Load Center may be loose. If that connection is loose, the affected load center can overheat.

May 24, 2022 – E-One Incorporated is recalling certain 2022 Commercial, Cyclone 2, Cyclone N, and Typhoon N fire trucks. An additional resistor was incorrectly installed on the printed circuit board, which can disrupt CAN network communication and cause vehicle lighting to fail.
