MACK PINNACLE (PI/PN) Recalls

May 28, 2026 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2026 Anthem (AN), 2026-2027 Pioneer PR (4), Pinnacle (PI/PN), Granite (GR), and 2027 Anthem AN (4) vehicles. The wheel lug nuts may loosen and allow the wheel to detach.

Oct 06, 2025 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Mack MD, 2019-2025 Anthem, Granite, 2024 MD Electric, and 2025 Pinnacle trucks equipped with a passenger bench seat. The seat belt anchorage bracket may be improperly welded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Jan 21, 2025 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Pinnacle (PI/PN) trucks. The air tanks have an insufficient volume of air for the brake system. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 121, "Air Brake Systems."

Oct 23, 2024 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Anthem, Granite, TerraPro and Pinnacle vehicles, equipped with Bendix EC80 Advanced Electronic Control Units (ECU). Electrical noise and low signal to the power line carrier may cause the ECU to incorrectly process commands or stop working.

Jul 30, 2024 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Anthem, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles equipped with RollTek driver's seat assemblies. The seat pedestal and seat belt attachment may have been improperly tightened.

Dec 26, 2023 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 Anthem, Pinnacle, and Terrapro vehicles. The steering gear assemblies may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.

Oct 13, 2023 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2024 Anthem and Pinnacle vehicles. A software programming error may cause the electronic stability control (ESC) to be inoperative.

Jun 07, 2022 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2021-22 Granite, Anthem, LR, Pinnacle, and Terrapro tractor trailers. The steering gears may have been assembled incorrectly, which can cause the gear to fracture.

Jun 02, 2021 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Anthem, Granite, and Pinnacle vehicles. The hubcap compression spring can cause the hubcap to separate.

Apr 01, 2021 – Mack Trucks, Inc. (Mack) is recalling certain 2018-2022 Anthem (AN), Granite (GR/GU), and Pinnacle (CHU/CXU/PI) vehicles equipped with "camelback" rear suspension and electronic stability control. The vehicles may not stay in their lane at certain speeds. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 136, "Electronic Stability Control Systems on Heavy Vehicles."
