NOVA BUS LFS Recalls

Sep 09, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2019-2024 LFS and 2019-2023 LFS Artic buses. The auxiliary heater module may allow contaminants to enter the electronic controller, which can cause an electrical short. Additionally, the auxiliary heater may fail, causing the defrosting system to not function properly.

Sep 03, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2023 LFS Artic and 2023-2024 LFS vehicles. The instrument panel may fail to display the speedometer or incorrectly display warning lights, due to defective firmware. In addition, the firmware may result in a loss of drive power.  As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard numbers 101, "Control and Displays."

Jul 26, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2019-2023 LFS and 2019-2020 LFS Arctic buses. The glazing used on the glass windows may reduce the driver's visibility. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 205, "Glazing Materials."

Jul 25, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2016-2019 LFS and LFS Artic buses. The brake chamber on the rear axle may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in an air leak.

Jul 25, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2019-2021 LFS and 2019 LFS Artic buses. The brake chamber on the rear axle may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in an air leak.

Jul 08, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2021-2024 LFS and 2021-2023 LFS Artic buses. An air leak may occur in the parking brake valve and unintentionally engage the parking brake without activating the brake lights.

Jul 08, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. The windshield wiper arms may be incorrectly aligned, which can cause the wiper blades to collide.

Jun 17, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2021 LFS buses. The welds may fail, allowing the rotary plate to separate from the door operator.

Jun 07, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. The ground connection on the bus bar in the HVAC roof unit may not be secured properly, which can result in an unexpected engine shutdown or an overheated ground connection.

May 10, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS vehicles. Insufficient crimping may allow the secondary fuel filter hoses to disconnect and leak.
