NOVA BUS Recalls

Jun 07, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS buses. The ground connection on the bus bar in the HVAC roof unit may not be secured properly, which can result in an unexpected engine shutdown or an overheated ground connection.

May 10, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS vehicles. Insufficient crimping may allow the secondary fuel filter hoses to disconnect and leak.

Mar 27, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2020-2024 LFS vehicles. The engine coolant return hose may fail, leaking coolant and causing an engine shutdown.

Mar 17, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2021-2022 LFS Artic and 2021-2023 LFS buses. The alternator power cable nut may not have been tightened properly.

Mar 04, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova) is recalling certain 2022-2023 LFS vehicles. Missing electrical components may prevent the battery disconnect switch from functioning.

Jan 19, 2024 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2017-2019 LFS and LFS Artic buses. The driver's door windows may have been built with the incorrect prime glazing manufacturer DOT code mark. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 205, "Glazing Materials."

Dec 20, 2023 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2023 LFS buses. The front air spring suspension hardware may separate from the attachment plate, causing a sudden loss of suspension.

Nov 21, 2023 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2023 LFS and LFS Artic transit buses. The sun visor may detach and fall from the bracket.

Nov 11, 2023 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2021-2023 LFS transit buses equipped with a directional foot switch. The turn signals may intermittently become inoperative.

Nov 11, 2023 – Nova Bus (US) Inc. (Nova Bus) is recalling certain 2020-2023 LFS and LFS Artic transit buses. The brackets retaining the Mobile Climate Control HVAC Unit could fail and allow the unit to detach from the bus.
