TURTLE TOP VAN TERRA Recalls

May 21, 2024 – Turtle Top is recalling certain 2024 Van Terra, Terra Transit, Odyssey, and Odyssey XL vehicles, equipped with certain GO-ES Space Saver Foldaway Seats. The recliner mechanism may not engage when the seat back is fully reclined. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 210, "Seat Belt Assembly Anchorages."

Aug 06, 2015 – Turtle Top is recalling certain model year 2012 Van Terra XL transit bus manufactured October 13, 2012, to February 7, 2013, and 2012 Odyssey XL MPV transit bus manufactured May 2, 2011, to October 4, 2011, which fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 217, "Bus Emergency Exits and Window Retention and Release." The windows may not meet minimum loading requirements.

Mar 24, 2004 – ON CERTAIN BUSES, THE ELECTRIC DOOR MOTOR ASSEMBLY HANDLE (LEVER) COULD POSSIBLY BREAK WHEN PULLING ON THE HANDLE FOR EMERGENCY RELEASE TO OPEN THE SIDE ENTRY/EXIT DOOR.

Mar 09, 2001 – VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: VAN CONVERSIONS MODELS BUILT ON FORD 138" E-350 CUTAWAY CHASSIS WITH 5.4L AND 6.8L GAS ENGINES WITH AFTER MARKET FAST IDLE CONTROLS INSTALLED. THESE FAST IDLE CONTROLS WERE IMPROPERLY INSTALLED, CAUSING THROTTLE CONTROL MALFUNCTION.
