Jul 02, 2024 – Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2025 VN and VHD trucks equipped with Composilite EXS20 steerable lift axle suspension assemblies. The tie rod assembly ball stud could have been improperly heat treated and can fail.

Feb 19, 2024 – Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024-2025 VNL and VNR vehicles. The steering gear sector shaft may have been improperly heat-treated, which can cause the gear teeth to crack or fracture.

Jan 10, 2024 – Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2024 XC40 vehicles. A diagnostic error in the Central Electronic Module (CEM) software may cause the left rear turn signal indicator to not function.

Dec 26, 2023 – Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling one 2020 VNL truck. The steering gear assembly may have been assembled incorrectly with fewer recirculating balls than are required, which may result in a loss of steering control.

Dec 22, 2023 – Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling one 2024 VNL truck. The bearing journals may not be fully seated in the steering knuckle assembly, preventing the proper installation of the wheel end hub assembly.

Dec 07, 2023 – Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2015-2024 XC90 vehicles. The second-row seat belt buckle and lower belt anchor bolts may not be tightened properly.

Dec 05, 2023 – Volvo Trucks North America (Volvo Trucks) is recalling certain 2024 VN and VHD vehicles equipped with size 295/75 or 385/65 Continental tires on the front axle. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the vehicle certification label is incorrect, which can allow the vehicle to be overloaded. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of 49 CFR Part 567, "Certification."
