Problem: THE INVOLVED TIRES FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 109, "NEW PNEUMATIC TIRES", DUE TO DISTORTION AND SEPARATION IN THE TREAD AREA, WHICH CAN OCCUR WHILE THE TIRE IS IN SERVICE AND SUBJECTED TO OPERATING CONDITIONS SUCH AS EXCESSIVE HEAT BUILD UP.
