Problem: Yokohama Tire Corporation (Yokohama) is recalling certain 7.50R16 RY215 tires manufactured January 1, 2006, through August 1, 2011. These tires are missing the "DOT" prefix, the required load/inflation information and do not list the material and number of structural plies. Thus, these tires fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard, No. 119, "New Pneumatic Tires for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of more than 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) and Motorcycles."
