THE FRONT LEFT UPPER CONTROL ARM NUTS MAY NOT HAVE BEEN SECURELY TIGHTENED. THE NUTS MAY LOOSEN AND COME OFF AND WITH CONTINUED DRIVING THE CONTROL ARM FRONT BOLT MAY WORK ITS WAY OUT OF POSITION OR BECOME DISPLACED.

'Bought a pristine 1981 silver and white Cadillac Eldorado w sunroof (Astroroof) June 2014. It is like new, in showroom condition. 'Has 115000 miles but still almost like new. Car stored for at least the last 5 years. Orig owner took meticulous care of car prior to that. The only problems I am having is a short in circuit #40 which turned out to be a shorted under the hood lamp. Also, the passenger seat electric recliner is not working and I can not find mention of the wiring in the service manual. A/C compressor doesn't turn on although the rest of the climate control works. (fuse or "power module") Leather is perfect. Paint is near perfect. Carpet needs shampooing otherwise it is a show car. Amazing.
I had a solid Black '81 Barritz bought in 2003 but it was not nearly in this condition. 'Driven for 10 years by me. Great cars ... both.

i just picked up a 1981 cadillac eldorado that had been sitting for 14 yrs . I filled the tires put in a batt started it and drove it home great car some of the electrical is giving problems but that is from sitting so long. testominy to cadillac
