DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE SEAT BELT RETRACTOR. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN AUGUST 20, 2001. OWNERS WHO TAKE THEIR VEHICLES TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER ON AN AGREED UPON SERVICE DATE AND DO NOT RECEIVE THE FREE REMEDY WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME SHOULD CONTACT DAIMLERCHRYSLER AT 1-800-853-1403. |

I own a 99 dodge Durango 4 x4 automatic column shift. The problem is the SHIFT INTERLOCK SYSTEM failure. With the truck off,no key in the ignition,no foot on break THE SHIFT LEVER CAN BE PULLED INTO ANY POSITION and truck rolls away!

my 99 durango will die sometimes when coming to a stop when cold. when it is about to die it will drop the rpms.it will start right up.
