General Motors is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD

General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD, Chevrolet Express, and GMC Sierra HD vehicles, and model year 2013 GMC Savana compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles that fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 303 "Fuel System Integrity of Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles." In the affected vehicles, the text of the CNG fuel-only label is smaller than the required size, and as a result, may be less noticeable.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,808 units affected.

Description:: General Motors (GM) is recalling certain model year 2013-2014 Chevrolet Silverado HD, Chevrolet Express, and GMC Sierra HD vehicles, and model year 2013 GMC Savana compressed natural gas (CNG) vehicles that fail to comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 303 "Fuel System Integrity of Compressed Natural Gas Vehicles." In the affected vehicles, the text of the CNG fuel-only label is smaller than the required size, and as a result, may be less noticeable.
Consequeces:: Text that does not conform to the required labeling size could inhibit fuel tank inspection practices and safe refueling, increasing the risk of a fire.
Corrective action:: GM will notify owners and will send them a replacement label, free of charge. The recall began December 3, 2015. Owners may contact Chevrolet customer service at 1-800-222-1020 or GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is 13365.

WE PURCHASED 18 PINNACLE LT245/75R16 LOAD RANGE E 10 PLY TIRES FROM GRAINGER AND MADE IN CHINA FOR OUR FLEET OF 15 2007-2014 GMC 3500 VANS. I HAVE 6 OF THEM ON SHOP FLOOR DUE TO FAILURES THAT ARE AVAILABLE FOR INSPECTION AND OR TESTING. SOME OF THE OTHERS WERE DESTROYED AND SENT TO BE RECYCLED. THESE VANS ARE DRIVEN UPON THE INTERSTATE, HIGHWAYS AND CITY STREETS, AT OR ABOUT THE SPEED LIMITS AND WITHIN THE WEIGHT CLASS OF A 1 TON VAN. MILEAGE VARIED FROM 5000 TO 10000 BEFORE THE TIRE BUBBLED ON THE TREAD OR AT THE BEAD, SEPARATED OR BLEW OUT. WE HAVE PURCHASED COOPER TIRES IN THE SAME SPEC RANGE PRIOR TO AND AFTER SAID PURCHASE WITH NO FAILURES AS THE PINNACLE TIRES.;
2014 CHEVROLET EXPRESS Complaints
My worry is the airbag. Is it a Takata airbag? From my understanding these airbags are dangerous. So is there a recall to have them fixed. And if so , can I take it to my local chevy dealer.;
2014 CHEVROLET SILVERADO 1500 Complaints
6.2L LT1 GEN V AFM 138880 miles. Driving at highway speed no warning engine CATASTROPHIC FAILURE. Simotanious reaction first check engine light,no oil pressure,limp mode, piston connectioning rod thru side of block in 2seconds.Took to home town dealer. They reported to GM suposeabley. Dealer found lifter,valve spring,valve missing on right bank pulled oil pan found missing parts in little pieces.oil pan had 3 distinct holes in it. Ther had been no issues previous to this event.serviced regularly 5000miles by local dealer.;
2014 GMC SIERRA 1500 Complaints
The contact owns a 2014 GMC Sierra 1500. The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed, the vehicle jerked and pulled to the right. No warning lights were illuminated. In addition, the contact stated that while driving over a bump in the road, the vehicle lost automotive power and shut off. The contact restarted the vehicle. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or dealer. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 230,000.;
