Chrysler is recalling certain 2019 Dodge Challenger and Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles

Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Dodge Challenger and Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles. The instrument cluster may not properly illuminate driver warnings. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays."

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 7,929 units affected.

Description:: Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain 2019 Dodge Challenger and Charger and Chrysler 300 vehicles. The instrument cluster may not properly illuminate driver warnings. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 101, "Control and Displays."
Consequeces:: Failure of the instrument cluster to properly illuminate may prevent the driver from receiving warnings about the vehicle's systems, increasing the risk of crash.
Corrective action:: Chrysler has notified owners, and dealers will update the instrument cluster software, free of charge. The recall began April 8, 2019. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is V32.

2019 CHRYSLER 300 Complaints
about 2 years old, I was with my family driving on the freeway when I felt the car veering to the right going off the road. I tried to correct the steering by pulling it to the left. I was not able to correct this steering as it seemed that the steering wheel was lock. I tried stopping the car from going off the road but the brake pedal was very hard to push. It seemed like the car had lose all power. The car went down the hill off the freeway and hit a huge road sign. I was doing 55 to 60 miles per hour and very mush alert. The car finally came to a stop in the middle of the frontage road. We started to push the car and it was hard to push so I attempted to start the car and to my surprise, it started. So I drove it to a safe place and called the police to make a report and the towing service. The damage on the front end of the was over $3,000. This was the first incident. The second incident happen July 2, 2026.My wife and I were traveling on a road with two lanes. It was about 4:30 PM and traffic medium. Suddenly I felt the steering wheel pulling hard to the left going to the left lane. I immediately turned the steering wheel to the right. I felt the steering wheel was very hard to turn the steering to the right. I pulled off the road to check of any problems. The car never shut off and I was able to drive home. I have driven the car several time since the last incident but I on always wary of the same happening again. I did contact the Chrysler dealer the first this happen and They stated that there had been no one reporting of any similar incident.;
2019 DODGE CHALLENGER Complaints
the car shot up in RPM would not slow down spinning tires while holding the brake hard. had to go in neutral and kill the motor, when restarted it would continue to do the same thing;
2019 DODGE CHARGER Complaints
Vehicle was sold by Westgate Crysler Jeep Dodge Ram of Raleigh with missing caliper bolt in front passenger brake system. This was detected by an independent service center while getting brake pads and rotors replaced, as they were very worn and causing the brake system to be jumpy and catchy, despite Westgate assuring they were fine. The lack of the bolt in the caliper put my entire family's life at risk from the second we drove off the lot a little over a month ago.;
