E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2019 Typhoon and Cyclone II fire trucks. Due to improper manufacturing, the cushion of the Inflatable Head Cushion (IHC) and Knee Air Bag (KAB) may detach during a deployment event and not inflate.
The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 10 units affected.

- Description:
- E-One Incorporated (E-One) is recalling certain 2019 Typhoon and Cyclone II fire trucks. Due to improper manufacturing, the cushion of the Inflatable Head Cushion (IHC) and Knee Air Bag (KAB) may detach during a deployment event and not inflate.
- Consequeces:
- In the event of a crash, if the cushions do not inflate properly, they may not provide the intended protection to the occupant, increasing the risk of injury.
- Corrective action:
- E-One will notify owners, and dealers will replace the air bags, free of charge. The recall began November 12, 2019. Owners may contact E-One customer service at 1-352-861-3612.
