Entegra Coach is recalling certain 2019-2020 Insignia

Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Insignia, Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Reatta, and Reatta XL motorhomes. The upper and lower steering shaft bolts may have been insufficiently tightened, allowing the steering column shaft to come loose.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 101 units affected.

Description:: Entegra Coach (Entegra) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Insignia, Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Reatta, and Reatta XL motorhomes. The upper and lower steering shaft bolts may have been insufficiently tightened, allowing the steering column shaft to come loose.
Consequeces:: A loose steering column shaft may cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Entegra will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and tighten the upper and lower steering shaft bolts, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began September 23, 2019. Owners may contact Entegra customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Entegra's number for this recall is 9901434.

2020 ENTEGRA ANTHEM Complaints
DEF head failure in June 2021. 100 miles after Leaving Clemson, SC, check engine light came on and DEF head indicator turned orange. DEF tank was over 1/2 full. Talked to Spartan rep in the afternoon he said keep driving until you get 3 fault codes. Got parked that evening in Nancy, KY and had 5 error codes. Fortunately we were in a safe parking lot and not on the highway. Saturday morning Coach started but wouldn't go. Replacement was mailed from Spartan Monday to mobile repair unit in Kentucky. DEF head was replaced Wednesday AM and we were back on road by 10am. The DEF head failure seems to be an epidemic on Spartan RV chassis (and other vehicles). We had about 24,000 miles on engine and many of our RV friends had similar failure experiences.;
2020 ENTEGRA ASPIRE Complaints
The contact owns a 2020 Entegra Aspire RV. The contact stated that while driving approximately 70 MPH, the emergency exit door window erroneously ejected from the RV. The cause of the failure was not determined. The RV was not repaired. Additionally, while operating the RV, there was an abnormal fuel odor present inside the RV. The RV was taken to the local mechanic who determined that the #1 fuel injector was faulty and needed to be replaced. The RV was repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and informed of the contact of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V529000 (STRUCTURE, EQUIPMENT). The contact stated that the RV had experienced the failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 28,000.;
2020 ENTEGRA CORNERSTONE Complaints
Def head sensor failure causing an unsafe derate condition. The rv will only go 5mph causing me to not be able to get to a safe location. As i understand the engine and def system are functioning as they should but the malfunctioning sensor has caused the engine to shut down or derate to 5mph.;
