Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2020 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and 2017-2020 Lincoln Continental vehicles equipped with the 360-degree camera system. Degradation of the camera's anit-reflective lens coating can lead to a foggy or cloudy rearview camera image.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 277,040 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2017-2020 F-Super Duty F-250, F-350, F-450, and 2017-2020 Lincoln Continental vehicles equipped with the 360-degree camera system. Degradation of the camera's anit-reflective lens coating can lead to a foggy or cloudy rearview camera image.
Consequeces:: Lack of a clear rearview camera image can reduce the driver's visibility of what is behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the rearview camera, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 14, 2023. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-800-1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S51.

2020 FORD F-250 SD Complaints
The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-250 SD. The contact stated that the vehicle experienced a no-start condition and was towed to a dealer, where it was diagnosed and determined that the high-pressure fuel pump had failed and needed to be replaced. However, the contact was informed that the repair was not covered under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V957000 (Fuel System, Diesel); because there were not enough metal shavings found in the fuel system. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The contact used a vehicle scanner to retrieve DTC: P2291. The contact notified the manufacturer of the failure and was referred to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 134,000.;
2020 FORD F-350 SD Complaints
The contact owns a 2020 Ford F-350 SD. The contact stated that while attempting to start the vehicle with the ignition key, the vehicle failed to start as intended. The check engine warning light was illuminated. In addition, the contact associated the failure with NHTSA Campaign: 24V957000 (Fuel System, Diesel); and the VIN was included. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer where it was diagnosed with the fuel pump failure. The vehicle was not repaired under NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V957000(Fuel System, Diesel); because there was no metallic debris found in the fuel system. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure, and the recall repair was denied. The failure mileage was approximately 230,000.;
2020 LINCOLN CONTINENTAL Complaints
Passenger Door Latch sensor failure. Door Latches were under recall 2017 to 2019 Lincoln Continental sedans built from Nov. 30, 2015, through Nov. 14, 2018, at Ford's Flat Rock assembly plant in Michigan to include 2020 manufactured in Flat Rock. My car was manufactured in Flat Rock, MI;
