Chrysler is recalling certain 2022 Ram 1500, Jeep Gladiator

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022 Ram 1500, Jeep Gladiator, and 2021 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The front seat belt retractors may have an improperly welded micro gas generator, which can result in seat belt pretensioner failure.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 2,802 units affected.

Description:: Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022 Ram 1500, Jeep Gladiator, and 2021 Jeep Wrangler vehicles. The front seat belt retractors may have an improperly welded micro gas generator, which can result in seat belt pretensioner failure.
Consequeces:: A seat belt with pretensioner failure may not properly restrain an occupant during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the front seat belt retractors. free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 8, 2022. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is Z95.

2021 JEEP WRANGLER Complaints
The One Touch Power Roof has rails from side to side. Several of these have broken at their attachment to the track system. This has created several issues: 1) the roof is no longer leak proof, 2) it creates excessive noise at high way speed. I have not used this system much, so it is unclear why this failed. When I presented the car to the Jeep dealer service area, I was told the only solution is to replace the entire roof - several thousand dollars. There is no other fix. This is out of warranty, but it clearly is a manufacturing issue common with this roof. I believe Jeep should replace this roof system at their cost , not mine. They have not shown me why this happened nor have they claimed it is my fault.;
2022 JEEP GLADIATOR Complaints
On July 30, my 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon suffered an extremely dangerous, unexpected complete electrical and engine failure while in operation. The vehicle abruptly shut down without any warning, causing an immediate loss of power steering and power braking. Prior to and during this shutdown, diagnostic codes associated with lost communication were triggered, (Lost Communication with Transmission Control Module). A total loss of vehicle power and primary control systems while driving presents a severe, unacceptable safety hazard that places passengers and surrounding traffic at immediate risk of a high-speed collision or severe injury. Given that this model has low mileage (approximately 23,000 miles) and is under factory warranty, a catastrophic system shutdown like this indicates a critical safety defect within the electrical or powertrain control modules. I strongly urge the NHTSA to formally document and investigate this life-threatening defect to ensure manufacturer accountability and prevent potential accidents.;
2022 RAM 1500 Complaints
The contact owns a 2022 Ram 1500. The contact stated that while driving 70 MPH on the interstate, the vehicle lost traction and fishtailed on the wet roadway. While at a stop and turning, the vehicle started spinning like the vehicle was driving on ice, even though the outside temperature was hot. The local dealer was contacted and scheduled an upcoming appointment. The manufacturer was contacted but was unsure if a complaint was taken due to a language barrier. The failure mileage was approximately 30,000.;
