The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 143,551 units affected.

Description:: Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling certain 2021-2023 C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, CLS, SL, GT, GLC, GLE, GLS, and G-Class vehicles. Please refer to MBUSA's recall report for specific vehicle details. The fuel pump may shutdown, which can result in a loss of drive power.
Consequeces:: A loss of drive power can increase the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the fuel pump, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 14, 2024. Owners may contact MBUSA customer service at 1-800-367-6372. MBUSA's number for this recall is 2023070012.

2021 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG C63 S Complaints
Both driver and passenger seatbelts do not fully retract and remain loose. Must be manually guided back into mechanism. I see that there has been a recall for the cabriolet version of this vehicle platform but not for the coupe version. I am unsure why there hasn't also been a recall for the coupe C205 as it is the same platform and having the same exact issue. I have read on forums that there are also other drivers of the coupe platform that also have the same issue with the seatbelts not retracting so this appears to be a common issue with the vehicles safety devices.;
2021 MERCEDES-BENZ AMG GLC63 Complaints
This 2021 Mercedes-Benz GLC 63 AMG has experienced repeated and escalating warranty defects involving engine performance, loss of acceleration, air suspension failure, and now inoperative advanced safety systems including blind spot and active brake assist. Despite numerous repair attempts at authorized dealerships, including extensive engine teardown and cylinder head replacement, the manufacturer has been unable to permanently repair the vehicle. The car has been out of service for 145 cumulative days to date and continues to exhibit safety-related failures. It is currently back at the dealership for service. The vehicle therefore qualifies as a lemon and the owner seeks statutory relief in the form of a buyback and compensation. Please see the attached invoices for additional details and timeline below. 2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLE 580 Complaints
My Mercedes GLE 580 experienced a complete failure of the 48V battery system due to the exact defect outlined in NHTSA Recall Campaign 24V207 (defective 48V ground connection causing high resistance and fire risk). The official status for my VIN shows 'Recall Incomplete.' The vehicle is currently at Mercedes-Benz of Barrington. The dealership is actively refusing to remedy this safety recall under warranty and is attempting to charge me $5,313 out of pocket for the battery replacement. Furthermore, the dealership refuses to submit the correct diagnostic error code (B183371) to my extended warranty provider to block coverage. My family has been left completely stranded without transportation for 7 days, and the manufacturer refuses to provide a loaner vehicle while the vehicle is unsafe to drive due to this fire hazard recall.;
2021 MERCEDES-BENZ GLS450 Complaints
Both rear wheels on this vehicle have developed cracks which leads to tire pressure loss. Apparently, this is a common issue with Mercedes' heavier vehicles like the GLS and S series sedans. To be clear, I did not hit anything. I did not do any unusual driving. Both rear tires are fine. While you expect that certain components on a vehicle will have problems, it is also reasonable to expect that wheels will not crack prematuraly. Mercedes is aware of the problems. They were named in a class action lawsuit that was dismissed because cars were out of warranty. Warranty or no warranty, this is a major safety issue as a loss in tire pressure can be catastrophic.;
