Hyundai Motor America is recalling certain 2023 IONIQ 5

Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023 IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and Genesis GV60 vehicles. The rear inner driveshaft may have been improperly heat-treated, allowing it to break under load and resulting in a loss of drive power.

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 1,165 units affected.

Description:: Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2023 IONIQ 5, IONIQ 6, and Genesis GV60 vehicles. The rear inner driveshaft may have been improperly heat-treated, allowing it to break under load and resulting in a loss of drive power.
Consequeces:: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.
Corrective action:: Dealers will replace the rear inner driveshaft, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 29, 2024. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-855-371-9460. Hyundai's numbers for this recall are 253(H), 017G(G).

2023 GENESIS GV60 Complaints
A/C compressor not coming on when cabin A/C does. This means it is also not coming on to cool the battery, which could prevent proper battery thermal management, raising safety and performance risks in hot climates. A/C compressor and inverter have been replaced without resolving the issue. It has been to two dealerships that independently diagnosed the problem as the A/C compressor. The car is currently at Allen Turner Genesis in Pensacola, FL so it should be available for inspection. There were no warning lamps illuminated.;
2023 HYUNDAI IONIQ 5 Complaints
The contact owns a 2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5. The contact stated that while driving on the freeway, the vehicle shut off unexpectedly. The vehicle was coasted to the side of the road and parked. Moments later, the vehicle was restarted, and the vehicle drove normally. The contact stated that the failure had reoccurred on several occasions, and the vehicle was taken to the dealer each time, but the cause of the failure was not yet determined. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 4,000.;
2023 HYUNDAI IONIQ 6 Complaints
My 2023 Ioniq 6 is not charging as it has for 3 years. When charging to 100% my app States 347 and 382 miles. It should be 361 as stated by Hyundai. What happens if I drive under 45 mph after 5 miles the miles goes down to 303. It is not working as stated. It is not holding miles properly.;
