Ford Motor Company is recalling certain 2020-2025 Explorer

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, 2020-2024 Escape, Lincoln Corsair, 2018-2024 F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirement Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

The recall was influenced by the manufacturer with about 27,678 units affected.

Description:: Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2025 Explorer, Lincoln Aviator, 2020-2024 Escape, Lincoln Corsair, 2018-2024 F-150, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles. The air bag warning label may be missing from the dashboard. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirement Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."
Consequeces:: Without a label that shows the proper restraint usage guidelines, the occupants may have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
Corrective action:: Ford will mail owners the warning labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 19, 2024. Owners may call Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24C39.

The local dealer was made aware of the issue and confirmed that parts were not yet available. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. 2024 FORD F-150 Complaints
The seat belt will not latch when I insert the tongue normally. It will only click into the buckle if I hold the release button down while inserting it. This is the back seat behind the driver seat.;
2024 LINCOLN CORSAIR Complaints
The contact owns a 2024 Lincoln Corsair. The contact stated that while driving approximately 45 MPH, the sunroof suddenly exploded without warning or impact. There were no injuries sustained. The contact notified the local dealer of the failure; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but provided no assistance. The contact was referred to the insurance company for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 15,000.;
2024 LINCOLN NAVIGATOR Complaints
Placing the vehicle in reverse we backed into a concrete piller and none of the safet sensors allerted us to the object.;
