– Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2026 AN Series, 2023 AA Series, 2022-2026 Digger Derrick, and 2025 AM Series vehicles. The Bendix automatic braking system was not recalibrated after relocating the front radar box.

Altec Industries, Inc. - Recall #26V310000
– Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2025 AT Series, 2021-2025 AN Series Aerial Device, 2020-2026 TA Series Aerial Device, 2021 L Series Aerial Device, 2021 LR Series Aerial Device, 2023-2025 AM Series Aerial Device, and 2024-2025 AA Series Aerial Device vehicles. The ground level emergency stop (E-stop) may not stop hydraulic functions of the machine when the machine is in ePTO mode.

– Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025-2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The emergency stop switch located at the turntable is inoperative when the upper controls interlock is active and allows the upper and lower controls to remain powered when the emergency stop is depressed.

– Altec Industries, Inc.(Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2023 AA55, 2023 AM55, AN46, and AN55 vehicles. A check valve that retains oil in the boom hoses may not have been installed, allowing a vacuum to form and reducing the upper boom’s insulation.

– Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 1995-1996 AM and AN aerial devices. Please see the recall report for a complete list of models. The hydraulic cylinder head gland may have been improperly manufactured, which can result in it detaching from the barrel of the cylinder while under load, leaving the lower boom unsupported.

– ALTEC IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2009-2010 AERIAL DEVICES AND DIGGER DERRICKS UTILITY VEHICLES MANUFACTURED FROM APRIL 2009 THROUGH MAY 2010. THE HIGH STRENGTH FASTENERS THAT CONNECT THE BOOM TURNTABLE TO THE PEDESTAL MAY FAIL DUE TO STRESS CORROSION CRACKING, WHICH COULD CAUSE THE BOOM TO FALL.

– ON CERTAIN AERIAL DEVICES MOUNTED ON GMC C7500 TRUCK CHASSIS AND EQUIPPED WITH AN ALTEC ELECTRIC-AIR/MANUAL TRAILER BRAKE CONTROL, THE TWO-WAY CHECK VALVE COULD BE INSTALLED IN EITHER THE FRONT OR REAR BRAKE SYSTEM IN SUCH A MANNER THAT STOPS AIR FLOW TO THAT PARTICULAR PART OF THE CHASSIS BRAKE SYSTEM.
