ALTEC Recalls

Apr 16, 2026 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025-2026 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The emergency stop switch located at the turntable is inoperative when the upper controls interlock is active and allows the upper and lower controls to remain powered when the emergency stop is depressed.

Mar 20, 2026 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025 AC Series Crane and DT Series Digger Derrick vehicles. The harness intended to prevent Altec installed lighting from overloading the chassis lighting circuit was not installed, which may result in a loss of power to the body lighting or trailer lights.

Mar 13, 2026 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2026 Service Body, Aerial Device, Pressure Digger, Spray Truck, and Digger Derrick vehicles. The low tire pressure rating printed on the final stage certification label is incorrect.

Feb 06, 2026 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Digger Derrick and 2021-2025 AM Series Aerial Device vehicles. The chassis engine may start unintentionally due to a missing diode in the Altec power distribution module.

Dec 23, 2025 – Altec Industries, Inc.(Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2023 AA55, 2023 AM55, AN46, and AN55 vehicles. A check valve that retains oil in the boom hoses may not have been installed, allowing a vacuum to form and reducing the upper boom’s insulation.

Dec 18, 2025 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2023-2025 Aerial Device and Digger Derrick vehicles. The electronic taillight module harness may have inadequate circuit protection.

Nov 26, 2025 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2025 LR8 Series vehicles. The collar on the lockbolts for the shear plates may have been improperly formed during assembly, resulting in bolt failure.

Nov 21, 2025 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2019-2024 AT Series vehicles. The lower emergency stop may not function when the upper control is selected.

Oct 03, 2025 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2024 FOSV-CA vehicles. The interconnect battery cable routed between the chassis battery and the auxiliary batteries may overheat.

Oct 03, 2025 – Altec Industries, Inc. (Altec) is recalling certain 2022-2025 ST600 vehicles equipped with auxiliary engines. The auxiliary engine electrical circuit, including the starter and voltage regulator, may become overloaded.
