HEARTLAND Recalls

Aug 28, 2026 – Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Heartland Bighorn recreational trailers. The Gross Axle Weight Rating (GAWR) listed on the certification label may be incorrect. As such, these trailers fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."

Aug 06, 2026 – Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2027 Jayco Eagle, Eagle SLE, and Heartland Sundance fifth wheel trailers. The auto leveling jacks may be lowered during transit.

Jul 02, 2026 – Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2026 Heartland Cyclone travel trailers and Cyclone fifth wheel trailers. The inverter may have been installed without a grounding connection.

Oct 09, 2025 – Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2026 Heartland Bighorn and Jayco North Point fifth wheel travel trailers. The murphy bed mechanism may fail, causing the bed to fall unexpectedly.

May 09, 2025 – Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Cyclone fifth wheels, equipped with a removable step assembly. The clip-on bracket mounting bolts may come loose, allowing the steps to detach.

Aug 13, 2024 – Heartland Recreational Vehicles (Heartland) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Torque travel trailers, equipped with optional Onan 5.5 generators. These generators may not be properly vented and allow the generator to overheat or prevent exhaust gas from escaping properly.

May 03, 2024 – Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2024 Eddie Bauer travel trailers. The tire placards indicate an incorrect tire size. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheels and Rims - Other Than Passenger Cars."

Mar 27, 2024 – Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2023 Elk Ridge, Lithium, 2024 Eddie Bauer, Corterra, 2023-2024 Big Country, Big Horn, South Fork, Fuel, Gravity, Mallard, North Trail, Sundance, Milestone, Pioneer, Prowler, Torque, and Trail Runner fifth wheels and travel trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Jan 17, 2024 – Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland) is recalling certain 2024 Corterra fifth wheels. The certification labels may have missing or incorrect tire size information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, "Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."

Apr 19, 2023 – Heartland Recreational Vehicles, LLC (Heartland)) is recalling certain 2023 Big Country and Big Horn fifth wheels. The federal certification label may have incorrect tire information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 120, " Wheels and Rims-Other Than Passenger Cars."
